I was thrilled last week when an entrepreneurial friend of mine told me of her recent marketing success.
What made the success so special was the process she went through to achieve that success.
A few months ago, disappointed with her small client base, she came up with a plan on how to expand her business.
She determined who her “perfect customer” would be. Then she did research to target that customer. Hours and hours of time paid off once she had a concise list of companies that might need her services.
A simple marketing plan was devised and implemented.
Two month’s later she had several new clients, and was delighted with her results.
I attribute her success to the time spent targeting her audience. She had a specific message to get across, but made sure she was only targeting those interested in the message.
