Make It Personal

With so much of our society conversing via technology, it’s easy to overlook the needed human touch.

Make sure you are following your customers on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.  Read their blogs.  Use technology to understand their organization and their distinct personalities.

Then, use that information to make it “personal”.  Give them a call when you have tickets to see their favorite team play.  Invite them to the restaurant you saw on their Facebook pages.  Attend the fundraiser you saw on their events calendar.

The money spent on these efforts far outweighs the cost of obtaining new business.

Use technology —  to make it personal.

  1. I like that you are sending regular posts, but not to the point of spam. I signed up for a few that were daily, but the content was not useful and quickly backed away.
